Charlie Henry Holley, age 103, died on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Mr. Holley was born to the late James Cabell Holley and the late Cora Grant Holley. He spent most of his life in the Pittsylvania County area where he retired from Dan River Inc. with forty years of service.

He proudly served his county in the United States Army and was a member of Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Brantley Stowe Holley. In addition to his wife he is also survived by daughters, Margaret H. Layne and husband Ronald and Jane M. Holley; and sister, Thelma H. Stowe.

He was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel in Danville Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Gerald Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery.

The family request that memorial donations be made to Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund at 149 Jones Mill Road, Chatham, VA 24531.
