Barbara Jane Williams Bohanan was born June 23, 1941, to Reva Lee Loveday Williams Clinton and Herbert Williams in Sevierville, Tennessee. She passed from this life on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at the age of 77. Some say she lived more than 9 lives with multiple terminal health issues, but cancer and stomach problems took her life.

Barbara was preceded in death this year by her daughter Jane Melissa Bohanan Morrow on May 5 after a short-term serious illness and by her mother Reva Lee Loveday Williams Clinton on June 28 at the age of 102.
Her nephew, Benjamin Bohanan, also preceded her. Barbara is survived by her husband of 55 years, William Crease “W.C.” (Bo) Bohanan; daughter Belinda and husband Todd Gray; granddaughter Jasmine Gray; Son-in-law, Mark Morrow;-grandson Andrew Morrow; granddaughter Hailey Morrow-Burghart and husband, Dillan and great-granddaughter, Bella Grace. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Arthur Milo Bohanan and wife Ann; niece, Becky Bohanan Frisbe, along with great nieces Courtney Brown, Casey Williams and nephew Dalton Brown.
Barbara also leaves behind her beloved cousin Mary Helen Smelcer plus many more cousins and relatives. Barbara’s (and Bo’s) wanderlust has taken her to each of our 50 states. She lived in Tennessee, Virginia, Michigan, Wyoming, California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.
She drove every mile of the Alcan Highway through the Yukon Territory into Alaska and visited over 50 National Parks and Monuments. Her travels have also taken her to London, England and on a mission to Kenya, Africa. Her desire for adventure took her to the top of Mount LeConte with her young family for an overnight stay and also endured -80﮿F temperatures in Skagway, Alaska.
While located in some remote National Parks, she enjoyed passing the time by reading, crocheting and quilt-making. Many family and friends have enjoyed the warmth of her beautiful embroidered quilts of flowers, animals, and silks in all colors of the rainbow. Barbara sold Avon for many years and was also a gypsy moth trapper in Southern Washington.
She partnered with Bo for 20 years in the mini storage business in Morristown and Sevierville before becoming ill earlier this year. The family greatly appreciated the care, support, work, and help Mary Arwood, Karen Gilkerchen and Linda Hurst gave for the past few months. Special thanks to Ruth Green and Jean Burrus for their much-appreciated help for the past few years.

Box 1000 Dept. 142Memphis, TN 38138 (800-822-6344) The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4PM on Saturday November 24th with a funeral service to follow at 4PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville with Dr. Bruce Martin and Pastor Bill Barnes officiating. She will be laid to rest 10 AM Monday at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
