Barbara Sue Bear, 77 formerly of Holdenville passed away on April 7, 2018 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born on December 1, 1940 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Frank and Susie (Namatho) Wahpepah. She graduated Valedictorian from Dale High School and went on to college at East Central University.

She was a member of Many Springs Baptist Church. Barbara enjoyed watching TV Court Shows and cheering on the OKC Thunder and OU Football teams. She cherished time spent with family and watching her grandchildren… Read More » play ball.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Tom Bear Jr., sister Linda Whiteman, brothers; Lawrence Wahpepah, Jim Wahpepah, Warren Wahpepah, Frank Wahpepah Jr. and Gordon Wahpepah. Survivors include her children Sue Ann Rollice and husband Caesar of Newalla, Johnson “Bo” Bear and wife Donna of Noble, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister; Ruth Sanderson of Shawnee as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Many Springs Baptist Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Elliott Alderman, Greg Kemper, Kendall Wahpepah, Joshua Bear, Davon Bear, Scott Murry.

Honorary bearer is Ben Bear. Interment will follow at the Many Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.
