Obituary for Barry Lee Judy Barry Lee Judy, 77, passed peacefully at his son’s home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. He was the husband of the late Linda E. (Oberdorff) Judy. Barry was born in York on November 25, 1940, son of the late Willis Baker and Hilda Irene (Leiphart) Judy.

Barry graduated from York High School. He was an assembler at York International. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as auto racing.

He was a member of both Craley and East Prospect Fish and Game Clubs. Barry was a long time crew member for local racers, Gary Wolford and Paul Kline. Barry is survived by two sons, Brian Judy and his wife, Beth and Craig Judy and his wife, Kim; his companion, Shirley Smith; four grandchildren, Conan Judy, Gerald Heckrote, Jessica Heckrote, and Tamara DiIorio; five great grandchildren, Kaeden, Adalyn, Selene, Mikaela, and Emma; and a brother, Max Judy.

A funeral service will be held Monday, October 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 700 Hellam Street, Wrightsville. A viewing will be held on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends that are planning to come to Barry’s service on Monday, the family request that you wear casual clothes. We are certain that Dad would have preferred people not getting all dressed up to say good-bye. If you would like, please wear a racing t-shirt and comfortable pants.

In lieu of flowers, Barry’s family asks that you donate blood or make memorial contributions to the Central PA Blood Bank, 8167 Adams Drive, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
