Obituary for Kay F. Fahringer Kay F. Fahringer, 75, of East Prospect, died peacefully, Wednesday, October 3, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Sunbury on May 30, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Lenore (Gaugler) Roush. Kay was the loving wife of the late Theodore L. Fahringer; he died June 16, 2013.

Kay retired from Wilton Armatale where she worked in the antiquing department. She was also the bar manager at the Columbia Catholic War Veterans and the Columbia Moose. Kay was a member of the Lake Clark Auxiliary, Coast Guard Auxiliary, the Columbia Catholic War Veterans, and the Columbia Women of the Moose.

Kay enjoyed bingo, taking trips to her family cabin in Mifflin County, and taking casino trips with her late husband, Ted. Kay’s greatest love in life was her family and she especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kay is survived by her daughter, Robin S. Hughes with whom she resided and her sons, Randy L. Dunlap of Windsor and Gerald “Dean” Dunlap, Jr. and his wife, Nancy of St. Matthews, SC.

She is also survived by her sister, Judith Ann Gunnet, and her husband, Wayne of York; her step-children, Ted, Jr., Jolynn, Rich, and Greg; and her 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna K. Dunlap. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 700 Hellam Street, Wrightsville, with Pastor Stephen Rambler officiating.

Interment will follow in Red Lion Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kay’s memory may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Central PA, 900 South Arlington Avenue, Suite 134A, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
