Obituary for Robert “Bob” Paul Trovinger Robert Paul Trovinger, of York, known to friends as “Bob”, passed away at home on October 3, 2018, a few days shy of his 86th birthday. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Joyce E. (Diffendarfer) Trovinger, in 1998. Born in York on October 12, 1932, he was the son of the late Pauline (Newcomer) Trovinger Harbaugh and the late Paul Trovinger.

He graduated from William Penn Senior High School class of 1950. He worked for Alloy Rods Corporation and later, ESAB Welding and Cutting Products for more than 40 years until his retirement in 1998. Bob attended Faith Bible Fellowship Church, York and Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene, York.

He is survived by his sons, Rob Trovinger and wife, Shirley and Lonny Trovinger and wife, Jeanne; his grandchildren, Matthew Trovinger and wife, Jessica, Kyle Trovinger and wife, Abby, Ashley Trovinger, Hillary Trovinger Strausbaugh and husband, Nate, and Nate Trovinger and wife, Ana; two brothers, Richard Trovinger and Donald Harbaugh and wife, Diana; a sister Linda (Harbaugh) Plass; and his great grandchildren, Rienne and Riley Trovinger, Brady and Noah Trovinger and David and Genevieve Trovinger. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market Street, York with Pastor Phil Norris officiating. A viewing will be held Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Bob may be made to Grace and Hope Ministries, 119 N. George St., York, PA 17401. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market Street, York, PA 17403.
