Obituary for Mrs. Beaulah M. Knight Mrs. Beaulah C. Knight, (often called Momma Knight or MawMaw), joined our Heavenly Father on June 30, 2018. Mrs. Knight was extremely innovative and entrepreneurial minded. You might say “born before her time”.

She was the matriarch to so many and called each – her child. Mrs. Knight and her husband, were the first African American Poodle Groomers in Oklahoma. Added to her accolades of blessings, Mrs. Knight was a licensed cosmetologist.

She also spent many years at Lucent Technologies. Momma Knight was the Assistant Superintendent of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church Nursery Department for 65 years. She would often say, “This was her joy and proudest honor from the Lord”.

Her constant advice to everyone she met was, “Put the Lord first and you can make it”. She welcomed everyone into her “Life of Love and to the food on her table”. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mrs. Beaulah M. Knight please visit our Sympathy Store.
