Obituary for Betty Kuhnle Betty Bernice Kuhnle, longtime resident of St. Clair Shores, died peacefully April 8, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family. Betty was born in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Edgar and Mary (Sumner) Chumley. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Donald, on April 4, 1953 in Birkett Baptist Church of Detroit.

The couple made their home in St. Clair Shores and were blessed with four beautiful children of whom she loved and cherished. Betty family always came first and she provided them with a loving and christian home. She loved the Lord and enjoyed her daily Bible readings.

Betty enjoyed writing in her journal, working on her weekly word search and loved a good game scrabble and cards. Above all, She was a generous and loving soul who was proud of her children and grandchildren. Betty will be deeply missed and her light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.

Betty is the loving wife of the late Donald; beloved mother of Carol (Otis) Kirkland, David (Jo), Donald (Kim) and Anne (Scott) Schramm; and cherished grandmother of Jessica (Peter), Holly (Joseph), Justin (Alex), Marissa (Barnabus), Kaydee and Drew (Erin); dear great grandmother of Seth, Callen, Lily and the late Jared; and sister of Shirley Ann Chumley. Visitation will be held in Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd. , Fraser, Friday 2pm-8pm.

A funeral will be held at Bethany Baptist Church of Clinton Township, on Saturday 11am with additional visitation from 10am-11am. Memorial may be addressed to Destiny Rescue, www. destinyrescue.org/us/ P.O. Box 752 North Webster, IN 46555 Destiny Rescue is a Christian organization the strives to reach young people involved in human trafficking.
