Betty J. Meisel, Saginaw, Michigan. Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Age 92 years.

Daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Peters) Riselay, Betty was born July 25, 1926 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Edward M. Meisel on April 7, 1945. He predeceased her June 18, 1995.

Betty was greatly involved on the family farm. She was a long standing member of Kochville United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School. Betty was also a past member of the Saginaw County Farm Bureau Board of Directors.

She loved sewing, gardening, being outdoors and playing Bingo. Surviving to cherish her memory are three daughters and one son, Jane (James) Levi, Edward (Linda) Meisel, Mable (Michael) Partyka, Marian (Timothy) Ludlum; grandchildren, Vinson (Becky) Levi, Dana (Jeffrey) Armbruster, Dustin (Erin) Levi, Amy (Benoy) Joseph, Edward Meisel III, Dean (Jennifer) Meisel, Karen (Pete) Lewis, Mike Partyka, Joe Partyka, Cora (Clint) Knochel, Tiffany (Heath) Hammerbacher, Carrie Ludlum; great-grandchildren, Julia Armbruster, Taylor Armbruster, Samuel Levi, Thomas Levi, Madelyn Gray, Azalea Levi, Rohan Joseph, Soham Joseph, Adelaide Meisel, Edward Meisel IV, Edison Meisel, Logan Meisel, Brynn Meisel, Joey Partyka, Paul Lewis, Veronica Lewis, Patrick Lewis, Gavin Knochel, Connor Knochel, Silas Hammerbacher; many nieces and nephews; and sadly missed by her church friends. Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Riselay, Ruth Thomas, Pearl Cradit, Harold Riselay, Arlene Ellison, Maurice Riselay, Shirley Pignatelli, David Riselay and Joy Kartz.

A special thanks to New Hope Valley and Heartland Hospice for the extraordinary care which was given. Funeral Service will take place 12:00 noon, Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Aldersgate United Methodist Cardinal Square Campus (Kochville United Methodist Church), 6030 Bay Rd. , Saginaw.

Rev. Bryan Williams will officiate with burial in Kochville Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.

(between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
