Thomas B. “Bubba” Goodell Jr. Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved husband, father, nephew and friend passed away suddenly Thursday, May 2, 2019 at his home. Age 52 years.

The son of the late Thomas B. Goodell Sr. and Sharon Kay (Minnick) Goodell, Thomas was born February 24, 1967 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a 1985 Graduate of Douglas McArthur High School and attended Delta College and Western Michigan University. He married Melissa Leedke on May 3, 1997.

She survives him. Tom was owner and operator of ABO Tent Events. He was a member of St. Dominic Parish.

He was also a member of the Saginaw Chamber of Commerce and Heritage Athletic Association and enjoyed following their athletic events. Through his kindness and generosity, many individuals, schools, organizations and athletic associations were touched. Tom gave, unconditionally, to make Saginaw a better place.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Melissa Goodell; two daughters, Haley and Hannah Goodell; his aunts and uncles, Jim and Vicki Goodell; Jim and Sharon Minnick; Gary Minnick; his mother-in-law, Donna Leedke; sisters-in-law, Kimberly Leedke; Beth and Joe Baker; Kristin and Ray Ogden; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and his golden retrievers, Charlie and Chester. Tom was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Goodell; his brother, Troy Goodell; and his father-in-law, Jim Leedke. Honoring Mr. Goodell’s wishes cremation has taken place.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2019 at St. Dominic Parish, SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan, Saginaw. Rev.

Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
