Betty L. Chamblin February 07, 1934 – February 23, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Betty L. Chamblin, 85, of Charles Town, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, at Winchester Medical Center. Born Feb.

7, 1934, in Charles Town, she was the daughter of Robert Jenkins Jr. and Bessie (Goode) Jenkins. Mrs. Chamblin retired from American Woodmark as a finisher and was manager at the Kratz Trailer Park. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Karla Berry and husband, Benny, of Ranson; son, Herbert S. “Peanut” Chamblin Jr., of Charles Town; grandchildren, Dawn Light and husband, Jason, Melissa Berry, Paul Anders Jr. and Wendy Bunner and husband, Sam; great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Light, Jakob Light, Chelsee McClelland, Caylee Erwin, Lyndsee Erwin, Tanner Anders and Emily Anders. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Anders; great-grandson, Corey Wayne Bowles; and sister, Peggy Florence. Services will be held at noon Thursday, Feb.

28, 2019, at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town, with Pastor Bucky Chapman officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the funeral home.
