Betty M. Kistler, 79, of Glendon Borough, PA, has gone home to be with her Lord! Graduation Day! on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in St. Luke’s Hospital-Anderson Campus.

Born November 17, 1938, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late William B., Sr. and Edith V. (Little) Kist. Her husband, Forrest H. Kistler, died August 18, 1977. She retired in 2003 from The Express-Times, where she worked for 28 years.

Betty graduated from Wilson High School. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching television and was an avid New York Yankees fan. Betty was an active member of River of God Church.

Surviving are special friends, Ed and Maggie Brinker, with whom she resided; an aunt, Myrtle Barr, of Upper Nazareth Township; a niece; a nephew and dearly loved brothers and sisters of River of God Church. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, William B. Kist, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 11am Friday in River of God Church, 813 Reynolds Street, Easton. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Hay’s Cemetery.
