Billy’s Obituary Billy George Edgin, 80, of Wichita Falls passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls with Pastor Bill Pursley of Emmanuel Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 11:00 a.m. Bill was born on April 10, 1938 to the late William and Lillie Mae (Honeyman) Edgin and was a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls.

He proudly served in the United States Navy and worked for Borden Milk Company for over 32 years. He is survived by his wife, Dorcia Edgin; children, Teri Birdsong, Tina Mommens and husband ,John, and Mike Edgin and wife, Hardy ; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Edgin and Dewey Edgin; and a daughter, Sherri Edgin.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to Advance Rehab & Healthcare, 4810 Kemp Blvd, Wichita Falls, TX 76308, Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310 or the Alzheimer’s Association 901 Indiana Ave # 350, Wichita Falls, TX 76301.
