Obituary for Bob Trumbley Bob Trumbley, 79, of Marion, passed away at 8:10 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion. Bob was born January 22, 1939 near Thompsonville to Thomas Calvin and Daisey (Gill) Trumbley. He married Mary Jo Talluto on August 17, 1981 in Marion.

Bob was retired have been employed by Sears in Marion as an appliance salesman for 25 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a 1957 graduate of Johnston City High School.

Bob enjoyed working in the yard and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed going to McDonalds and visiting with his buddies. He is survived by his wife Mary Trumbley of Marion; children, Tena (Jim King) Shrock of Noblesville, IN, Dena (John) Seets of Carrier Mills, Stephen (Tami) Rieger of Freeman Spur, Lori Ann Gorey of Bradenton, FL and Tiffany Owens of Freeman Spur.

He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; one brother and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev.

Richard Malone officiating. Interment will follow in San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. Military rites will be accorded by the Herrin and Carterville American Legion and VFW Posts along with members of the Illinois National Military Honors Team.

Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Manna Mission.
