Bobbie Peterson Blodgett, 85, wife of the late Dr. Donald Hudson Blodgett, of Walhalla, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019, at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Blytheville, Arkansas, Mrs. Blodgett was the daughter of the late Tollie and Lucy Lee Young Peterson. She was a retired nurse with the Oconee County Health Department and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Blodgett is survived by her daughters: Laura Kinder of Seneca, Susan Owens of Walhalla; grandchildren: Robert Kinder, John Kinder, Ashley Stevenson and Andrew Whiten; and five great grandchild, that she was very proud of. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Blodgett was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law: Ruth and Henry Mahan. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 28, 2019, at Oconee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM, Monday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Keowee Dialysis, 537 US-123, Seneca, SC 29678. The family is at the home.
