David A.T. Biddle, Age 84, died on Friday, Jan. 12th in Seneca S.C. with his loving companion, Marlane Hodges, by his side. Born Dec.

23, 1934 in Philadelphia Pa. to Alice and Craig Biddle, David attended The Haverford School where he was the captain of the soccer and tennis teams as well as a varsity swimmer. He achieved 9 varsity letters along with being selected to all inter-ac, and all scholastic teams.

In February 2007 he was inducted in the Haverford School sports hall of fame. He was a graduate of Cornell University in 1957 where he was a member of the ROTC program. He married Diane Lishon on August 25, 1956 in Bryn Mawr, Pa.

They spent their early years in the USAF at RAF Schullthorpe in Norfolk, England where he rose to the rank of Captain. He had three children, Sari Leigh, David Allen Thompson Jr, and Scott MacNaughton. He is survived by all his children, 8 grand and 2 great grandchildren.

David was president of The Chester County Board of Realtors and enjoyed a long career in real estate and finance. An avid tennis player and master’s swimming champion, David enjoyed coaching and watching his children and grandchildren participate in a wide range of events. A memorial service will be held at the Merion Cricket Club, in Merion Pa.
