Katie Christine LeCroy, 93, wife of the late Clarence William LeCroy, of 490 Alberts Road, Seneca, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Seneca Health and Rehab. A native of Anderson, SC, Mrs. LeCroy was the daughter of the late Estelle Hughens Lumpkins. She retired from Kendall and later worked at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

Ms. LeCroy was a member of Seneca Church of Nazarene. Mrs. LeCroy is survived by her sons: John LeCroy (Alice) of Greenwood, SC, Millard LeCroy of Seneca, SC, Chester LeCroy of Seneca, SC, David LeCroy (Kay) of Seneca, SC and Tommy LeCroy (Cheryl) of Seneca, SC; daughter: Marie LeCroy Gibson of Walhalla, SC; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. LeCroy was preceded in death by her son: Dennis Wayne LeCroy.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 25, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted.

The family encourages friends to come by the home of Marie Gibson, 1955 Westminster Highway, Walhalla, SC 29691, to visit with the family. The family would like to say thank you to the staff at Seneca Health and Rehab for the love and care they provided during Mrs. LeCroy’s stay.
