He was born in Humphreys County, Mississippi on August 26, 1940 to Walter Flanoy Walker and Annie Marie (Danny) Ganann Walker. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife; Jetty Roebuck Walker, three children; Bobby Joe (Joey) Walker, Robert Joseph (Rob) Walker, Angela Walker Crabtree; one brother, William (Sonny) Walker; and one sister, June Walker Williams. There will be no memorial service at this time. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
