Brad Thomas Watson September 26, 1974 – January 24, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Brad Thomas Watson, 44, of Macon, MO, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Brad was born on September 26, 1974, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Michael and Vicki MacDonald Watson. He served in the United States Army for over twenty-five years, retiring as a Sergeant First Class.

Brad was united in marriage to Stacy Bowen on August 22, 2015, in Macon. He was a loving, kind, caring, and giving individual. Brad was an amazing leader, motivating others to reach their potential.

He enjoyed his pets, hunting, fishing, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals. Brad is survived by his wife, Stacy Watson of Macon; his mother, Vicki Watson; three brothers, Michael Watson and his wife Jill, David Watson and his wife Vicki, and Chris Watson, all of Kansas City, MO; four nieces, Anna, Emily, Keely, and Clancey; five nephews, Dylan, Spencer, Blake, Colin, and Brayden. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Sandy Bowen; father-in-law, Edward Bowen; brothers-in-law, Edward Bowen, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, and Christopher Bowen and his wife Carli; and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm, Friday, February 1, 2019, at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home, 401 North Rollins Street, Macon, MO. Burial, with full military honors, will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.

Visitation will be from 11:30 am, until the time of service, on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project.
