Brandon Anthony Porter April 16, 1970 – December 22, 2018 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Brandon Anthony Porter, age 48, formerly of Queens Village, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018. He graduated from Martin Van Buren High School in 1988. Brandon was a baseball player for American Martyr’s Catholic Youth Organization, HBQVB Athletic Association, and Martin Van Buren’s Varsity team.

He was an employee of Chelnik Parking for close to 20 years. Brandon was a talented photographer, a loving uncle and brother, and a dear friend to many. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juliette and Edward Porter; his sister, Julia Porter; his great-aunt, Lunette Grant; his grandmothers, Naomi Butler and Willie Pearl Porter; his grandfather, Lyman Porter; Aunt Joyce Wyatt and Aunt Dorothy Porter; and his Uncle Johnnie Porter.

He is survived by his sister, Edwina McKinnon; his nephew, Marcus McKinnon; his cousin, Beverly Grant; his cousin, Bernard; and cousins from Georgia, North Carolina, and New York.
