Funeral services for Brenda Lee Rutledge, age 76 of Lindale, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, with Bro. Ira Lynn officiating. Interment will follow at Sabine Cemetery in Lindale.

Brenda passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 in Tyler. She was born December 8, 1942 in Whitwell, Tennessee to the late Herman A. and Fleeta Alberta (Merriman) Worley. Brenda has lived in the Lindale community since 1972 where she was a member of the South Main Church of Christ.

She was a music enthusiast, and enjoyed playing the fiddle, piano and the bass guitar. Brenda also enjoyed sewing, worked throughout her life as a beautician, and blessed her beloved family as a homemaker. She is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister from Tennessee.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Luke Rutledge of Lindale; sons, Timothy Dale Rutledge and wife, Debra of Lindale, and Howard Keith Rutledge and wife, Pamela Kay of Lindale; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner Rutledge. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Rutledge, Tanner Rutledge, Buster Brown, M.L. Moore, Ronnie Horton, and Jimmy McClenny. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
