Broaddus’ Obituary Broaddus Henry Tomlin, 85, of Winchester, Virginia, died Monday, January 28, 2019 at his home. Mr. Tomlin was born March 6, 1933 in Clarke County, Virginia, son of the late John Henry Tomlin and Mabel Boyd Tomlin. He was retired from Perry Engineering where he worked as a supervisor for water and sewer installation for over 45 years.

In his free time he enjoyed making instruments for his family and friends. He married Elizabeth Grimes Tomlin on August 11, 1951 in Frederick, Maryland. Surviving with his wife of 67 years are daughters, Diane T. Veverka of Somerset Beach, SC and Jeanne T. Edmonson of Winchester, VA; four grandchildren, Jason C. Anderson of North Las Vegas, NV, Michelle Anderson Cain of Hagerstown, MD, Joshua D. Edmonson of Stephens City, VA, and Nicole Tomlin Warner of Marshall, VA; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

His son, Dwayne H. Tomlin, sisters, Marie Elsea, Isabelle Whittington and Twyla Tomlin, and brother, Carlton Tomlin, all preceded him in death. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Rev. Keiko Foster officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville. Pallbearers will be Jason Anderson, Michael Perry, Lindsay Dodd, Joshua Edmonson, Michael Warner, and Freddie Cheshire. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Anderson, Todd Kern, Tom Wilson, Mike Alexander, Charlie Cattlett and Beth Carroll Lewin.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1833 Plaza Drive, Winchester, VA 22601.
