Carla Diane Smith Tucker, 66, of 540 Inca Ln, Ringgold, VA died on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Duke University Hospital after being in declining health for the past ten years. Carla was born on July 10, 1952, daughter of the late Obie Bobby Smith and the late Inez Jane Baugess Smith. She spent most of her life in the Danville and Ringgold areas.

She proudly served her country in the United States Army and traveled to many places while on duty. She was known for her love of cooking, owned/operated a restaurant, and loved to cook for family and friends. She also had a love for animals.

On July 2, 1996, she married Victor Allan Tucker who survives of the residence. In addition to her husband Carla is survived by brother, Robert Smith of Ringgold, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Tony Ray Smith.
