Memorial Services for Carol Bond, 79, will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018 at Shandon UMC with visitation following the service. The family request there to be no flowers. Please send memorials to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Mrs. Carol passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late F. Edwin and Helen Daehling Davis. She was very involved in Habitat for Humanity and performed volunteer work with the Epworth Children’s Home for many years.

Mrs. Carol was also a member of the P.E.O. and the Columbia Sailing Clubs. She was highly respected and admired by her siblings, children and friends. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Bond; son, Brian (Michelle) Bond; daughters, Susan Spoone and Linda (Steve) Neis; brothers, Richard, Rodger, and Kenny, sister, Lorraine; grandchildren, Jon, Mason, Connor, Antonio, Marcello, and Angelo, and one great-grandchild, Jaxon.
