Carol Sue (Ray) Stevens, 72 HARTFORD CITY – Carol Sue (Ray) Stevens, 72, passed away at 12:57 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at her daughter’s residence in Liberty Center. She was born in Paoli, IN on February 23, 1946 to Paul W. Ray and Grace O. (Dollar) Anderson. Carol graduated from Pennville High School in 1965.

She lived in Fort Wayne for 15 years before moving back to this area. She enjoyed flowers and she was into the latest fashion, where she loved to do hair, makeup… Read More » and clothing selections for others. She was a very generous lady and would help anyone with anything they needed.

Carol will be sadly missed by her daughter, Leisa R. Stevens of Liberty Center, IN; brothers, Steve (wife, Pam) Ray of Portland and Lanny (wife, Jan) Ray of Warren; sisters, Sharon (husband, Don) Schisler of Plant City, FL and Joan (husband, Monte) Sewelle of Fort Wayne; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jerry L. Ray. Carol will be cremated and her cremains will be interred in the family lot at Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville at a later date.
