Carolyn Sue Oakes, 75. Of Charleston passed away Monday, January 16, 2019 at CAMC-General Division. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Jean McCallister; her son, Derick Burris and her former husband, John Oakes.

Carolyn was a former cosmetic consultant and loved the Lord and enjoyed gardening. She had an “eye for design” and adored her cat, “T”. Surviving are her granddaughter, Ashley Garrett (Chase) of Hurricane; her great-grandchildren, Gavin Doyle and Alyssa Garrett; her brother, Bobby McCallister of Murrells Inlet, SC.
