Doris Jean Arbaugh, 93, of St. Albans went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Rolling Meadows Place, Scott Depot. She was born January 15, 1926 in Scott Depot, She was the daughter of the late Pate and Blanche Eggleton. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, Paul, Lloyd and Julian Eggleton; sisters, Ernestine Danehl, Mary White Miller and Mabel Hawley.

Doris was retired from Union Carbide Technical Center. After her retirement she enjoyed many years of caring for her home and traveling with her husband of 72 years, Jennings Arbaugh. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Albans and enjoyed serving on the Deaconess Board and in other capacities.

Surviving are her loving husband, Jennings Arbaugh and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans with the Rev. Joel M. Harpold officiating.

Entombment will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call from 11 to 12 pm prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hubbard Hospice House, West, In Memory of Doris Jean Arbaugh, 4605-A MacCorkle Ave.
