Jane Ann Hodges, 76, of Hurricane, passed away January 16, 2019 at Putnam Center, Hurricane. She was born November 15, 1942 to the late Ernest and Zella Browning. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Carson” Hodges; sisters, Genieve Elam, Shirley Russell and Patricia Rousch; brothers, David Browning and Robert Browning; and best friend Deborah Hatfield.

Jane was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She also loved her Henson Center family. She is survived by her sons, Robert Carson “RC” Hodges (Carol Hager) of Hurricane and Bruce Hodges (Jennifer) of Milton; brothers, Jack Browning of Scott Depot and Charles Browning (Jackline) of Scott Depot; grandchildren, Carmen Campbell, Garrett Hodges, Samantha Hodges and Tara Hodges; six great grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane, with visitation from 5–7:00 pm at the funeral home. Chapman Funeral Home, family owned and located at 3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, is honored to serve the Hodges family.
