Obituary for Cassandra L. Mitchell Cassandra Lynne Mitchell, 26, of Central City, Nebraska passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at CHI St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island, Nebraska. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Solt-Wagner Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. officiating.

Visitation will be Monday, June 4, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Chapman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family and condolences can be sent to the family at www.

soltwagnerfuneral.com. Cassie was born on September 6, 1991 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Ed and DeeDee (Barton) Mitchell. She grew up in Phillips, Nebraska and attended Aurora Public Schools graduating in 2010.

She lived in Sioux City for a brief period as she attended Morningside College. Cassie was loved by many, but none more than her family. She cherished her family, especially her three nieces.

She also enjoyed hanging out with her cousins, aka “cousin time”. Cassie’s friends were very very important to her. Words cannot describe Cassie’s passions; her laughter, her smile, she loved deeply with all her heart and soul!

From her toddler years, Cassie was stubborn, intensely loyal, an adventurer, and sassy with an attitude that we all loved. She loved her cats. She also had a love for hats, Monopoly, Yatzee, and Knock Poker, and toe socks.

She was an avid Mustang car lover, owning three including her 1966. At such a young age, she had not begun to accomplish her many goals in life…. She is survived by her mother and stepfather – DeeDee and Montie (Barton) Pirnie of Central City, NE; her father Ed Mitchell of Minnesota ; one sister- Billie and Bob Condy of Grand Island, NE; one brother- Chad Lammermann of Marquette, NE ; three nieces – Charlee and Kaylee of Grand Island, NE and Alauna of Marquette, NE; grandmother- Nina Mitchell of Wellsville, NY; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
