Charles’ Obituary Charles E. Ball, 75, of Oswego, died peacefully on April 19, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late George Ball and Sophie (Sabre) Golas. Charles was a Laborer, he worked for Local 214 doing various jobs all over Oswego County.

He enjoyed woodworking and building bird houses. Surviving are his loving wife; Patricia (Cleary) Ball, two daughters, Terry Delong and Tricia Ball both of Oswego, two sons; Charles Jr. (Carol Ann) Ball of Alabama, and John (Andrea) Ball of Oswego, a sister, Lucille Ball (Richard) Dasens of Oswego; eight grandchildren, Michael Mosley, Ashley Lytle, Savanna DeLong, Matthew Marshall, Paige Ball, Alex Ball, Katherine Ball and C.J. Ball; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, James Joseph Ball, and a sister, Betty Verdoliva and brother George Ball.

There are no calling hours. Services will be held privately. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
