He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 25, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Charley married the love of his life, Regenia Vern Albert on May 31, 1968 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

His greatest passion was spending time with his family. He has requested cremation with no memorial service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Cherishing his memory is his son, Jimmy Armstrong and his wife, Amber of Elk City, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Makayla and Makenzie Armstrong of Elk City, Oklahoma; sister, Patsy Costner and her husband Gerald of Texas; brother-in-law, Robert Albert and his wife Connie of Burkburnett, Texas; sister-in-law, Brenda Arnold of Midwest City, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Regenia, two brothers and one sister. Memorials may be made to charity of the donor’s choice in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 707, Elk City, Oklahoma 73648.
