Charlotte Rodery, 82 of Pontoon Beach, Illinois passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 in Granite City. Charlotte was born on November 24, 1935 in Spanish Lake, Missouri; the daughter of the late William and Iralee (O’Neal) Schollmeyer. Charlotte was an administrative secretary at Harvard Interiors.

She was confirmed and baptized at Salem Lutheran Church in Blackjack, Missouri and in her free time she enjoyed her days of deer hunting, gardening, playing cards, and Bingo. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Charlotte will be remembered for her kind heart and all the special times she shared with her family and friends.

Charlotte is survived by and will be missed by her children; Tony Accardi of Granite City, Paul Accardi of Granite City, Kathryn (Ken) Kelley of Fults, IL, Deborah (Steve) Rosch of Granite City, Phyllis (Randy) Case of St. Charles, MO; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her son; Joey Hunt Accardi; her 2nd husband, Aldon Rodery. In celebration of Charlotte’s life, a memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City.

Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
