Jacklyn Elizabeth Willaredt, age 84, of Granite City, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at University Nursing and Rehab, Edwardsville, IL. Jacklyn was born on December 2, 1933 in Granite City, IL, a daughter of the late Alvin Henry Willaredt and Margaret Rose (Relleke) Rush. Jacklyn retired from Central Bank as an assistant to the vice president after many years of dedicated service.

She was a faithful member of St. John United Church of Christ in Granite City, IL. Jacklyn was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan, and she enjoyed going to the games and watching them play on tv. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Jacklyn loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving brother and sister, Stephen R. (Susan) Willaredt of Granite City, IL and Cheryll Prough of Troy, IL; proud aunt to Stephen E. Willaredt, Mark Willaredt, Laurie Nichols, Daniel Buehrer, David Buehrer, Darin Jones and Chris Jones; proud great-aunt to many great-nieces and great-nephews; extended family and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at St. John United Church of Christ, 2901 Nameoki Road, Granite City, IL. In celebration of her life, a memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, at the church, with Rev. Karla Frost officiating.

Interment will be in St. John Cemetery on Nameoki Road, Granite City, IL. Memorial donations may be given to St. John United Church of Christ. Donations will be accepted at the church.
