Claude’s Obituary Claude L. Hankins, 84, of Marshall, MO, died Monday, February 4, 2019 at The Living Center in Marshall. Graveside services with military rites will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2019 at Missouri State Veteran’s Cemetery in Higginsville with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or Parkinson’s Foundation. An online guestbook is available at www. campbell-lewis.com Born August 16, 1934 in Hope, MO, he was the son of the late Delmar C. Hankins and Eleanor Bateman Hankins.

On October 10, 1959 he married Darlene Ward who preceded him in death on October 13, 2009. Claude was a truck driver for many years and managed Southside Laundromat in Marshall. He and Darlene moved to Marshall in 1984 from West Plains.

He was a United States Army veteran and loved to play bingo. Survivors include two children, Melissa Macias and Timothy Hankins both of Marshall; five grandchildren: Malcolm, Matthew, Gabrielle, Zaylen, and KimberlyAnn; one sister, Barbara Wood of Stockton; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
