Kenneth’s Obituary Kenneth R. Ballenger, 68, of Marshall, MO, died Monday, February 4, 2019, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial with military rites will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Memorials are suggested to family choice, and friends may sign the online register book at www. campbell-lewis.com Born November 15, 1950, in Saline County, he was the son of the late Ora Francis Ballenger and Mattie Gertrude Saylor Ballenger.

He lived in Saline County his entire life, and served in the U.S. Army. On April 5, 1970, he married Janet Brooks who survives of the home. He retired as supervisor at Con Agra Foods after 36 years, and he also raised cattle.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Jeff Ballenger (Stacey) of Marshall; two grandchildren: Kaitlyn Ritchie and McKenna Ritchie; three great-grandchildren; three siblings: Larry Ballenger of Slater, Erma Evans of Mount Leonard, and Marilyn Jenkins of Sweet Springs; as well as numerous nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Justin Ritchie; seven brothers and two sisters.
