Colleen Burrell Hunsaker, 66, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Pioneer Care Center due to complications from diabetes. Colleen was born on August 9, 1952 in Camp McCoy Milwaukee, Wisconsin a daughter of Masako Nakagawa and John R. Burrell. While growing up her father served in the Army and through his service Colleen was able to live in Tacoma, Washington; Rock Springs, Wyoming; Arlington, Virginia; and settled in Brigham City.

Colleen graduated from Box Elder High School. She married her high school sweetheart Brian D. Hunsaker on June 4, 1971. They raised their three children in Honeyville and for the past 24 years resided in Tremonton.

Colleen valued hard work and worked a variety of places including for Maddox; Brigham Sewing Center; as an Apple picker; Meter Reader; for Honeyville Grade School; and lastly at Convergys. She enjoyed crafts, taking pictures, dancing, music, and reading. Colleen loved to spend time with her family especially traveling and camping; where they created many fun memories together.

She was a dog whisperer, loved by all dogs, but her very favorite were her two babies Fancy and Marshall. She will be deeply missed by all. Surviving are her sweetheart Brian, Tremonton; children: Tiffany (Cary) DeJarnatt, Honeyville, UT; Lacey (Jeff) Larsen, Honeyville, UT; and Cam (Amy) Hunsaker, Honeyville, UT; eight grandchildren: Braedon & Kennedy DeJarnatt; Chris, Tina & Janae Larsen; Drayke, Preston and Sierra Hunsaker; and sister Mari (Chuck) Parsons.

Special thanks to Pioneer Care Center and CNS Hospice for all their loving care. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. A viewing will be Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Mortuary.

Interment will be in the Honeyville Cemetery.
