Elaine B. Hutchings Elaine B. Hutchings, 72, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2018. She was born on October 4, 1945 in Ogden, Utah to Arthur and Viola Cheney Berntsen. She married her sweetheart, James Hutchings, on August 30, 1992.

They were married for eight years prior to his death in November of 2000. Elaine was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her kids and grandkids and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She also loved her pets. They were like her kids. Elaine cared more about others than herself and was always willing to help and believed that everything would work out.

She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. She is survived by her children: Sheri Abersold, Teresa Probst, David Davis, Jonathan Hutchings, and Michael Connelly; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 N Monroe Blvd, Ogden.
