Ruth Ellen Ross, age 99, passed away on August 30, 2018. Ruth was born in East Wilford, Idaho to Joseph Oliver and Mary Verlillie Wight Jorgensen on November 23, 1918. Ruth attended School in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

She married Fenton Wilson, February 19, 1936 in Idaho Falls and together they had 4 children. She then married James Marvin Ross, April 4, 1950 and together they had 5 children. Ruth was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She worked for the Officer’s Club at DDO as waitress and managed the Herefordshire North Point Condominiums. She loved to spend free time with family, friends, scrap booking, quilting, crocheting, fishing, bowling and camping. Her number one love in life is her family.

Mother of Nine and a friend to all. Ruth is survived by her children; Jay (Annette) Wilson, Leon (Carol) Wilson, Don (Shirley) Wilson, George Wilson, Jim (Brenda) Ross, Phillip Ross, Colleen (Lee) Hamaker and Danny (Debbie) Ross, her 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Her brother Calvin Jorgensen of Helena Montana.

She is preceded in death by her 2 husbands, parents, her son John Thomas Ross, 8 siblings. Our family would like to express sincere thanks to the Perri and Camille from Hearts of Hospice. A very special heartfelt thanks to Debbie Ross (daughter-in-law) for her loving care of Mom.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Ogden City Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 6, 2018, 6-8 PM at Myers Mortuary 5865 S 1900 W Roy, Utah Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
