Gale Bert Armstrong Gale B. Armstrong, 92, passed away August 29, 2018 at his home in Eden, Utah. Gale was born June 12, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William B. and Sarah Jane Neilson Armstrong. He served in the Navy during WWII.

He married Margaret Udhart on June 9, 1952. Gale was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in many callings. He was most proud of his service as a young missionary.

Later, he served 6 years as a guide at Temple Square followed by 13 years as an ordinance worker in the Ogden Temple. While he pursued a career in dentistry and orthodontics, he always dabbled in real estate. After he retired, he was able to devote even more time to his projects.

Whether he worked on residential or commercial property, he was happiest and most fulfilled building, beautifying, and problem solving. His hobbies over the years included fishing in Alaska, creating stained glass windows, landscaping, and masonry, just to name a few. His other passion was going to yard sales.

The thrill of the hunt and bringing home a treasure he found for a bargain provided him joy every Friday and Saturday morning. He is survived by his children, Lark, Marlese, Sarah and Evan; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and his brother Glen Armstrong. He is preceded in death by his wife Marge and parents.

Funeral services will be held at the Eden 1st Ward Chapel, 6500 E. 1900 No. , Eden, Utah at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. Interment, Eden Mountain View Cemetery.
