Courtney Jacque Adams, affectionately known as “Black” departed this life on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, while working in Tuscaloosa, AL. Born September 1, 1984 to Georgia A. Dillard, he was thirty-four years of age. Courtney was a graduating member of the McIntosh High School Class of 2002, after which he enlisted in the U. S. Army.

He loved his Alabama Crimson Tide. Preceding him in death was his maternal grandmother, Cora Lee Adams. Left to forever cherish his precious memories are his loved children, LeCedrick Adams (mother, Kelli McMillian), and Kardaja Zion Adams (mother, Lydia E. Ingram); mother, Georgia A. Dillard; two sisters, Percosha Adams, and Conszuela (Sly) Maye; five nieces, Ashantae Adams, LaQuisha Adams, Darieylle Adams, Jazmyne Sutton, and Ja’Kia Sutton; three nephews, Jeremy (Daisneekqua) Jones, Jalien Sutton, and Jaheim Sutton; one great nephew, Haviyon M. Adams; one great niece, Alana G. Jones; four aunts, Delia McDonald, Theresa (Jackie Roy) Johnson, devoted-Agnes Lewis, and devoted-Virginia Adams; a very devoted friend, Vanessa “Shay” Weaver and her son, Braxton Byrd; and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
