Obituary for Daisy Zimmerman (Yearian) (Alma) Daisy Zimmerman, 93, of Murphysboro, passed away at 8:08 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro. Alma was born on August 26, 1925, in Jackson County, Illinois, to Archie Yearian and Alma (Mueller) Yearian Mansker. She had worked at the Glove Factory and Brown Shoe Factory after she married.

Mrs. Zimmerman was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Murphysboro, a member of the Murphysboro Senior Citizens, and the Red Hat Society. Daisy married Harold Zimmerman on March 3, 1945, in Murphysboro, and he preceded her in death on December 12, 1995. She is survived by two sons and daughter in laws Gary and Donna Zimmerman of Panama City Beach, FL, and Mike and Fran Zimmerman of Hillsville, VA; one daughter in law Barbara Zimmerman of Murphysboro; eight grandchildren Jamie, Shannon, Ice Land, Abraham, Corey, Kellee, Angie, and Leslie; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons Larry Zimmerman and Hal, who passed away the same day she did; one brother Archie Yearian, one sister Kathryn Meininger, and one sister in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 18 (PLEASE NOTE DATE) at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Josemon Hoem officiating and burial at Murdale Gardens of Memory.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2018 at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Immanuel Lutheran School.
