Daniel “Danny” Blease Sarvis, age 64 of Leland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his residence. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. Born in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Oscar Blease Sarvis and Nettie Mae Ward Sarvis.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce S. Ward. To cherish his memory, he leaves his beloved wife, Emma Katherine Boswell Sarvis; a daughter, Deena Sarvis Smeigh and husband, Ian of Cerro Gordo; two sons, Daniel Nance Sarvis and wife, Ashley of Wilmington, and Adam Jason Carr of Leland; a step-daughter, Jennifer Marie Boswell of Whiteville; six grandchildren, Ned Fowler, Anna Carr, Evelyn Boswell, Jameson Sarvis, Sadie Sarvis, and Ellia Smeigh; siblings, Bobby Sarvis, Jimmy Sarvis, both of Florence, David Sarvis and Jeanette S. Barnhill, both of Hallsboro. A service of Worthington Funeral Home, Chadbourn.
