Darlene E. Ingrassia, 93, of Janesville, WI, and formerly of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, March 24, 2019 in her home. She was born January 2, 1926 in Eden, WI, the daughter of Harvey and Ella (Christopher) Jacobson. Darlene was a 1944 graduate of Cobb High School.

She was also attended Harper Method Beauty School, Madison, WI. Darlene married Joseph Ingrassia on April 20, 1973 in St. Paul Lutheran Church. He predeceased her on August 18, 2001.

Darlene was employed by Caravilla Nursing Home as a beautician, retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Church Aide. Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Terry) Thalman of Janesville, WI, Deborah (Vince) Maloney of Janesville, WI, and Diane (Dean) Sandell of Beloit, WI; step children, Mary Jo Leonard, Jeannie (Tom) Allaway, Joanne (Bob) Parks, Roseann (Tom) Hoffman, and Margaret (Joe) Sweeney; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Mildred (Loren) Johnson of Cobb, WI; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, grandson Joshua, brothers Obed Jacobson, Harland Jacobson and James Jacobson. Funeral service for Darlene will be at 11:00 a.m. March 29, 2019 in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 617 St. Lawrence Ave. Beloit, WI.

Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation of remembrance will be from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Friday in the church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be given in her name to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Beloit Regional Hospice.
