Obituary for Darren Patrick Kingston Darren Patrick Kingston, 55, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018. He was born June 26, 1963 in Toms River, NJ, the son of John Patrick and Eileen (née Klunie) Kingston and had been a Bonita Springs resident for the last 47 years. Darren attended Bonita Springs Elementary School, Bonita Springs Middle School, Bonita Christian Academy, and Cypress Lake High School.

He graduated in 1982. He was a jack of all trades, doing construction work, mechanic work, and he was an A/C technician. He could fix anything.

He also taught his three daughters everything he could and his proudest moments were seeing his girls fix things on their own. He raised them to be independent and strong. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding, driving or fixing anything with wheels and a motor.

He loved jigging and fishing, scrapping and spending time with his grandson or friends… he certainly had a lot of friends. With a big ole heart of gold it is easy to have so many good friends, especially when you’re as energetic, happy, fearless, free-spirited and fun loving as Darren Darren is survived by his loving daughters, Loraine Hundley of Estero, FL and Natalie Kingston of Ft. Myers, FL; his brothers and sisters, Sharon Kingston, Jack Kingston, Keith Kingston, Shawn Kingston and Bridget Kingston; his cherished grandchildren, Travis, Shane, Jacob, Aden, and very soon, William.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Hundley in 2006 and his daughter, Ashley Kingston in 2005. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Trail South, Bonita Springs. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home – Family Owned Since 1978.
