Darron Farrell Savage passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at age 59. He is survived by two daughters, Taylor (Michael) Zaremba and Tori Savage; his father, Louis Savage; two brothers, Jay (Leslie)Savage and Gary “Bubba” (Cyndi) Savage; two sisters, Terri Faucett and Tammy Savage (Danny Chaviers); and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Darron was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Savage and his grandparents.

He retired from ACIPCO after 29 years of service. He loved Alabama football. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Morris Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF 26 Broadway, 14th Floor New York, NY 10004 or jdrf.org) as his oldest daughter, Taylor has Type I Diabetes.
