Dennis A. Heck December 5, 1938 – January 23, 2019 OSCEOLA – Dennis A. Heck, 80, residing in Osceola, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his home. Dennis was born on December 5, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Arthur Heck and Laura (Ohrt) Heck and has lived in the Osceola area for the past six years, previously living in Arizona and Arkansas. Dennis proudly served our nation in the United States Navy, serving combat duty during the invasion at the Bay of Pigs.

Following his service to our country, Dennis worked for many years in Chicago at GTE Corporation (General Telephone and Electronics Corporation) and later at GTE in Arizona. In November of 1963, Dennis was united in marriage to Arlene L. (Serwinski) Heck, who survives. Dennis and Arlene have been married for 55 years.

Also surviving are their two daughters, Carol (Bill) Norton of Round Rock, Texas, and Diana (Randy) Parsons of South Bend, Indiana; along with his grandson, Kyle Norton. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and by his two brothers. A memorial service with military rites for Dennis will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave.
