Denzil Earl Rose, 78, of Walker, WV passed away September 29, 2018 at the Worthington Healthcare Center. He was born on December 7, 1939 in Calhoun County and was the son of the late Russell and Mildred Nutter Rose. Denzil is survived by two sons, Todd Rose (Peggy) of Athens, TN and Denzil Rose Jr. (Tessie) of Walker, WV; one daughter Kayla Rose of FL; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Denzil was preceded in death by five siblings; Jean, Arthur “Bud”, Mary, Ronnie and David. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 PM.

The family would like to thank the Worthington Staff for their wonderful compassion and care.
