Diane Anastasi, 78, of Palmer Township, formerly of Easton, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at her home. Born January 27, 1940, in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Eleanor (Whalen) Krieder. Her husband, John P. Anastasi, Sr., died August 2, 2009.

She graduated from Phillipsburg High School. Diane retired from American Can Company, formerly James River Corporation and Dixie Cup Company. She enjoyed bingo and trips to casinos and the Jersey Shore.

Surviving are a son, John P. Anastasi, Jr. and his wife Michelle, of Palmer Township and a daughter, Paula Davis and her husband Kevin, of Williams Township; and five grandchildren, Anthony and Joseph Anastasi, K.J., Crystal and Kyle Davis. A calling hour will be held from 1-2pm Thursday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery.
