Phyllis J. Miller, 94, of Nazareth, formerly of Wilson Borough, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice. Born June 16, 1924, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles P. and Anna (Herman) Vincent. Her husband of 66 years, Kenneth E. Miller, died October 24, 2011.

Phyllis graduated from Wilson High School Class of 1942. Phyllis enjoyed camping and RV traveling. She and her husband square danced with the Saucon Squares for over 20 years.

She was a longtime member of the former Memorial United Church of Christ, where she had been the church secretary years ago. Phyllis was an active member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Tatamy, where she helped bake pies. Surviving are four sons, Thomas E. and his wife Beverly, of Fayetteville, PA, James K. and his wife Nancy, of Lititz, PA, Richard L. and his wife Deborah, of Palmer Township and David A. and his wife Jessica, of Lancaster; a brother, William T. Vincent and a sister, Gertrude Holtzclaw, both of New Bern, NC; six grandchildren, Craig Miller and his wife Anne, Megan Lamb and her husband Jonathan; Taylor Miller, Zachary Miller and his wife Marissa, Hannah Miller and her fiancé Dave Fanelli, and Gregory Miller and his wife Julie; six great-grandchildren; Madeline, Corbin, Caroline, Lukas, Alexander and Hayden; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Todd Miller and a sister, Charlotte Martenis. Services will be held at 1:30pm Friday in the Oliver Border House, 15 S. Wood Street, Nazareth. Call Friday 1-1:30pm in the Oliver Border House.

Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough. Offer online condolences at www.
