Donna J. Payne April 24, 1953 – March 1, 2019 Donna J. Payne, 65, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at 8:00 pm in her home. Private family services will be conducted. Private burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.

The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements. She was born April 24, 1953 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Elmer and Irene (Bulakowski) Blake. On September 5, 1970 in Michigan City, IN she married Terry Payne who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are a son, Matthew Payne of Michigan City, IN; two daughters, Lisa Urbanski and Michelle (Erik) Ritter, both of LaPorte, IN; five grandchildren, Noah Urbanski, Lily Urbanski, Rhys Ritter, Catherine Werner and Emily Ritter; Sister, Judith Gunter of Michigan City, IN; and four brothers, Dennis Blake of Springfield, MO, James (Adele) Blake of Michigan City, IN, David Blake of Michigan City, IN and Robert Blake of LaPorte, IN. Donna enjoyed baking, gardening, bird watching, arts and crafts and spending time with her grandchildren. Contributions may be made to Share Foundation for the Handicapped, P.O. Box 400, Rolling Prairie, IN 46371 or to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl.
